An Extraordinary meeting of Odstock Parish
Council was held on 13 April 2017 in the Pavilion, Nunton
Recreation Field.
Present: Gavin Simmonite (Chairman), Rod
Poynting (Vice-Chairman), Stephen Stapley, Colin Berry, Nigel
Start, David Williamson-Jones, Sally Nelson, Richard Parsons (Clerk)
and thirteen members of the public.

12/17 Open Public Forum: None.
13/17 Declaration of Interest: None.
14/17 Planning: 17/01797/FUL Full Planning - Extension of
existing agricultural grain store at Great Yews, SP5 4JG. OPC has
no objection to the grain store extension, however, due to the
significant amount of local concern about the potential increase
in the number of movements by Tractors and Heavy Goods Vehicles,
OPC will draw to the attention of the Planning Officers this
particular aspect of the planning permission being applied for.
Those parishioners in attendance were encouraged to explain in
writing their concerns, regarding highway usage by Tractors and
Heavy Goods Vehicles, direct to the Planning Officers.
15/17 Minutes of the Ordinary OPC meeting held on 13
February were approved and signed by the Chairman as a true
record.
16/17 Finance:
a)Governance Statements in Annual Return: Each statement was
considered and members were able to respond in the affirmative.
b)Payments: The following was approved: Bawden Contracting
Services Ltd Grass Cutting 588 £407.15p
17/17 The next scheduled OPC meeting is the Annual meeting
on 15 May.
